Great place to stay.. I really liked that it was quiet. I loved the virtual check in feature. The amenities were good. It was private and clean. The bed was a little uncomfortable, there was some misinformation about a pull out sofa. It was a little hard to fi d in the dark. The shower was on the small side and the bathroom needed more light.

Excellent choice.. Pretty neighborhood, easy access clean one-bedroom duplex, comfortable bed, pretty sheets, soft bath towels, great bath products, full kitchen, nicely decorated, codes to entry gate and room eliminated a key, easy to pay, Erin & Russ are wonderful hosts, cool inside in the heat of the day, lots of TV choices for people good with electronics, very reasonable cost. Breakfast is on your own, which we knew. Local choices lists on frig. Wi-fi available. Excellent choice. Nothing.

Nice Quiet location. The ability to pick and consume tree ripened grapefruit and oranges on site We understood our room would be handi-cap accommodations

Spring Training Getaway. The Raz Inn, located in uptown Phoenix is the ideal family getaway for Spring Training or any other family event in the greater Phoenix area. It is centrally located in a quiet neighborhood. You will enjoy a spacious living and dining area with kitchen, large bedroom, walk-in closet, and private bath. The outside patio is ideal for lounging and the pool is inviting. The fire pit is also conducive for after-dinner conversion. All in all, if you are looking for a great family getaway in a quiet and serene environment, then look no further than the Raz Inn!

Exceptional. A home away from home! The Raz Inn was a perfect spot for my little family to crash for a couple of days. We were welcomed by the super friendly home/property owner and enjoyed his hospitality throughout our stay. Raz Inn is close to many great restaurants and fun spots.

Comfortable private oasis in Phoenix!. GREAT value! Basically we had a full private bungalow for under $100/night. Full kitchen, large living room with large TV, wonderful soft supportive bed, small bathroom (no tub) but everything a person needs! Furnishings are very comfortable, quality pieces with an eclectic flair. We didn't get in the pool (temps were very cool during our week) but it looked wonderful, well maintained and clean. Wonderful patio area with multiple seating areas & beautiful palm trees and other plants - choose sunny or shaded, lounge chairs & even tables for outdoor eating. The owners have 2 cute "hotel cats" that we saw around the property. We are definitely cat people so it was fun to see and visit them a little bit. They won't bother you if you don't want them to. The neighborhood is quiet, centrally located and only a block from a light rail station as well as main roads going both E-W and N-S. Multiple restaurant, grocery & boutique shopping within just a block or two. All 4 units are inside a locked security gate. You might hear traffic when outside, but inside our unit was always blissfully quiet. Raz Inn was like a beautiful quiet oasis in the middle of Phoenix. We'd love to be back soon! There was no hot tub when we were there - there's a place for it (above ground) but I think it was being replaced. Something to check on if that's important to you. Some older reviews mention that breakfast used to be provided but we did not expect this and it was not offered to us. We prefer to take care of ourselves & the full kitchen w/coffeemaker was perfect for us. There is no "office" on the property, so upon arrival the process of checking in was done over the phone. We called the manager Russ, got the code for the gate & unit but had to wait a little while for him anyway. He was very kind and helpful but I found the process to be confusing - there could be names or numbers on the units so you know you're trying to get in the right one.

Wonderful stay at the Raz Inn!. I especially liked having a kitchen, living room and bedroom. Plenty of room for everyone! Bed could have been more comfortable

Superb. Very big space. It was like an apartment! It was very clean. Wonderful owners. Close to shops and food. Overall it was a great experience! The bed could have been a little more comfy. =0)

Not a traditional 'Inn' experience- but good value if you're not too picky.. Bed very comfortable. There was a pool. Good value- room was large and had full kitchen. This is a good location for a home base, good option for a long stay. There were areas of the unit that were not well maintained or clean- i.e.: dust bunnies under the bed, hair in the bathroom, walk-in closet ceiling access vent that had a towel shoved in it for some reason. Cable TV in room did not work. Property is listed elsewhere as 'assisted living' facility???- weird. Never saw other 'guests' but did see attendants(?) walking around in scrubs. Owner greeted me upon arrival in a robe with nothing under- it was 10:30pm, but I had sent a note of late arrival, so I was expected. Creepy to have a man walk you to your room in the dark, late at night in a bathrobe. Never saw a front desk or any 'staff'- there was no check-in or check-out. Did not use or see anyone else using the pool- not very well maintained- lots of floating debris. Could not control the temperature/ thermostat in the room.

This is worth looking at and considering to rent rather than a hotel!. Location... location... location~ privacy... clean.. fully furnished... lawn was well kept and overall area was well maintained. Tons of room in the unit... was the same as a 1 bedroom apartment.... ceiling fans through out.... furniture was well kept, clean and nice. Overall for being right in the "heart" of Phoenix, it was quiet and peaceful! I traveled alone and felt very safe. Once inside the enclosed area (had a code to open gate), lighting was perfect! The temperature in the room had a locking case on it and did not allow me to alter the temperature to meet my needs. The ceiling in the closet where the attic or heating/ac was located had some kind of a blanket sticking out of it. TV in the bedroom did not work. Also, bathroom fan did not work and there was no outlet near the mirror in the bathroom for my curling iron. There was no light that came on when you had to input a code to open the gated area to get to the unit. I had to use my phone for light to punch in numbers.

So fantastic place to stay!. Smooth check in/out, great staff, wonderful reply and treatment, private accommodation, homely atmosphere, quiet and peaceful surroundings in a residential area, highly recommended! We loved the place!!! Nothing.

Passable. Location was great. Grounds were nice. Suite was very spacious. Owners are very friendly. Mattress was horrible. We didn't have control of the thermostat and at a constant temperature of 80, it was too hot in the room. Stains on the pillow cases, very glad we had our own pillows.
